Introducing Canyon Country Chiropractor Dr. Raymond Bracamontes

“I was sitting in a high school class when it hit me!”, reminisces Dr. Raymond. “I realized I just wanted to help people. I mean really help them, without all the complications of surgeries or medications (drugs). I wanted to care for people and heal them. That’s the moment I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

You could say Dr. Raymond began his pre-chiropractic education at home. Raised with a strong sense of family and community, he used those values to build a highly successful pre-chiropractic education at his local community college, and later graduating with a degree in biology from U.C.L.A.

With a firm grasp on the basic sciences, Dr. Raymond entered the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1994. For over 3 years he intensely studied biochemistry, human anatomy and physiology, radiology, diagnosis, and chiropractic adjusting techniques. Dr. Raymond remembers it as “the most grueling educational experience of my life.” However, as his education became more challenging, Dr. Raymond excelled, and eventually graduated Valedictorian in 1997.

For 10 years Dr. Raymond practiced with some of the best local chiropractors. He sees it as “just more education”. He explains, "because of my vast experience, it has allowed me to bring the best of those approaches to my new office in Canyon Country and community of Santa Clarita."

“Some folks are skeptics. Some find their way to my office after years of chiropractic care. Either way we greet them with warmth, honesty, and an open heart. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that. I supposed it is how I was raised. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“Thank you for visiting our site. I hope it can be a source of hope and healing. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me or click on the ‘Email the Doctor’ button at the bottom of every page.”

Dr. Raymond Asks some important questions of interest to Canyon Country residents - Chiropractor Canyon Country Dr. Raymond Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Canyon Country folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Canyon Country chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
